My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Midnight. Solid Chocolate Ragamuffin or Ragdoll/Persian mix
Regular adoption fee: see below

We think we're pretty good at identifying purebred or purebred mixed
kittens that have been dumped in shelters but we have to say Midnight
stumped us. We'd never seen a kitten with his coat type and facial
structure combined. Only recently had we learned about solid colored
Ragdolls but with a little research we were able to find out more about
this guy and what we expect him to look like as an adult. He actually
has an almost copper color to the tips of his black fur which is really
pretty.
He has a lovely rounded face, and big round eyes the shine either gold
or green depending upon the lighting. His coat will be lovely and full.
One thing we found interesting is that he has a small bend in the end of
his tail, almost as if it's been broken at one point in his very short
life. What is even more interesting is that he came in with Magnolia &
Malcolm. He is obviously not their sibling but must have come from the
same household. What is up with that place? Every kitten came to us with
a broken but healed tail. Yikes.

A little thing like a small break to his tail has certainly not stopped
Midnight from being an outgoing, social little guy. He loves to be
snuggled, and enjoys sitting next to you if you are reading or watching
television. He gets along with all the other cat and kittens. Midnight
has the dog like personality that people often expect from a Maine Coon
kitten. If you are looking for the "look" of the Maine Coon and would
like a black/chocolate kitten, do consider our little Ragamuffin guy.
Looks and personality, he's got it all no matter what you want to call
his genetic back ground. We don't yet know how Midnight would do with
dogs or small children.

Ellen works long hours and can't often get to the phone but she does
often sneak away to answer emails. ;-)
