Welcome to Katie's Roadside Rescue! We are an animal rescue with the primary mission of saving dogs that have been dumped in the country or by the side of the road to fend for themselves.

Smiley is a smart, inquisitive, laid-back young man. He gets along great with other dogs but also does fine on his own. Smiley is housetrained and knows the doggy door. He was born to feral parents in the country and even though he has been raised in a home setting seems to keep some characteristics of his parents. He remains shy of strangers, for some strange reason, and children make him nervous (probably because they move so fast). Once familiar with you he is an absolute devoted love (treating him with ice cubes will win him over even faster). The transition will take time and patience but believe me, the rewards will be a lifetime of devoted love. Smiley will do best with older adults or no kids in the home so he can be fully dedicated to his parents. He is fully vetted, microchipped and house trainined. Please consider giving Smiley a home of his own.
