Hi People,
My name is Tootsie and I’m a one year-old bichon-schnauzer mix, who is smart, loving, entertaining and has a loving heart. Mom says that good things come in small packages and at only 9 pounds I’m a darling little ‘package!’
Dad wants you to know that I have tons of energy and lots of promise! I love to go for my walks -- and to run and play in the yard. While I’m a little shy around people at first (especially the people with deep voices called men), I warm up quickly -- and soon I am everyone’s best friend.
Mom says that I truly love other dogs and have lots of fun with my doggy foster brothers and sisters. And I can also entertain myself! I love to play with my chew toys, balls and anything I can get a hold of. I even like to chase the thing called a ‘frisbee.’ (Mom is very good about bringing it back too! Thank you Mom!)
I am doing well on a leash, ride well in the car, and am housebroken. At night I sleep quietly in my crate and don’t make a sound until morning. Like most young dogs, I need a forever family willing to continue to work on my training (Mom calls it socialization) - so that I can grow up to be the best little girl there is. And I would love to be in a home with another furkid where I can go for long walks and be part of a loving, active family.
