My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Cooper! I am only about 1 1/2 years old as of July 2012. I was found dumped at O'Rourke's diner in Middletown. When I was found I was emaciated and skin and bones. I soon fattened up and let my foster mom touch my nose one day. The next day I let her pet me. I then decided I had enough of life on the streets and took it upon myself to jump into her car!! She had no choice but to bring me home. I told her clearly I was not going anywhere but where she was going. I am a dominate cat so I need to be the only cat in the house or with a very laid back cat that will let me the boss. I am very overwhelmed at my foster mom's house with all these cats and would love a home as soon as possible. I am very vocal and will talk to you all day. I am FIV+. Humans cannot catch this and it is very difficult for other cats to catch. I am very healthy and need to be fed a good quality food. I am begging you to take me home. I have so much love to give you!! I am very, very affectionate and would even be a lap cat. I like to be held and picked up. I really have quite the personality. You'll just have to meet me once and I will melt your heart! Please rescue me!!!
