My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miadora: 1 yr old female declawed white mitted black and white
Persian

Can't help but smile looking at her photo can you? What an amazing
face.

Hers is another story of age and illness getting in the way of her
homelife with her mom. As a woman entered a care facility either she
or her family sent her two cats to the shelter. ( the other cat is
Elliot, a himalayan )

The shelter said NO we won't take them in. It is not safe for them
here. ( How about that !!!) They gave out the number of a rescue that
might help. Ultimately they were transported down to me.

Of course I said Oh My God ! when I first saw them.

Mia is a healthy young girl. She is still settling in. I have had
them only a short week and I don't really know what they went through
before they came into rescue. She is good natured and well behaved
but she is still unsettled and shy. She will come out from her bed
under the table to be petted now and will be fine soon.

My first choice would be to keep her with Elliot though I don't think
that is absolutely necessary. I would like to look for a home that
can take them both together first. They are both declawed and may be
uncomfortable ( in other words scared ) of cats with claws and dogs etc.

MIadora is a black and white as you can see however she has an
unusual lush grey ruff around her neck that sets off her black head.
She is very striking to say the least. Her feet are huge and snowy
white. Her eyes are large, round and copper colored. She looks like
a cartoon character.

I will write more when I know her personality better. I expect she is
a comedian.

She eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
