My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elliot: 4 yr old male declawed seal point Himalayan

How do you like those whiskers??? Ever seen anything like that?? I haven't. They are outrageous.

Elliot is quite small. You don't get that sense from this photo. He has a big coat that needs brushing but he is a little guy. More photo's will come soon from our wonderful photographer volunteer Michael that I hope have a sense of scale.

His is another story of age and illness getting in the way of his homelife with his mom. As a woman entered a care facility either she or her family sent her two cats to the shelter. ( the other cat is Miadora. a persian )

The shelter said "NO we won't take them in. It is not safe for them here". ( How about that !!!) They gave out the number of a rescue that might help. Ultimately they were transported down to me. All we know about them are their ages.

Of course I said Oh My God ! when I first saw them. What a pair.

Elliot is a healthy young male cat. Declawed on his front paws. He is a seal point Himalayan which means his head ears feet and tail are dark brown and his body is a cream color. As you can see his eyes are super blue. I have no clue where he got his curly fry whiskers from. He is a nice goodnatured kitty. Likes attention and petting but like his housemate Mia he is still adjusting to all the changes of his last few weeks.

My first choice would be to keep Eliot with Mia though I don't think that is absolutely necessary. but I would like to look for a home that can take them together first. They are both declawed and may be uncomfortable ( in other words scared ) of cats with claws and dogs etc.

I will write more when I know his personality better. I have had him less than a week (7/ 31 )

He eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

His foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
