Cocoa's Story...
>* * * COURTESY LISTING * * *

Cocoa is approximately 3 months old and weighs about 15 lbs. We are unsure of her exact breed or how big she will grow. Cocoa was rescued from a local shelter. She will be spayed, microchipped, and current on shots prior to adoption.

Cocoa is your typical puppy. She is very sweet, very curious, and very active. She gets along well with other dogs. Cocoa is in the process of being cratetrained and housetrained. Like all puppies, Cocoa would thrive on training and discipline, and with those along with continued socialization to all people and animals and of course lots of TLC, she will grow into a simply amazing adult dog.

To arrange a meeting with Cocoa, please email your completed Adoption Application. She is currently being fostered in Oakley. There is a $250 adoption fee which goes to help cover a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A homecheck will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cocoa, a Concord Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Concord, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Concord.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Concord already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Concord breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Concord paves the way for another one to be saved.
