Goose had been wandering in a parking lot for several days when a kind person scooped him up and brought him to the vet clinic where one of our foster moms works. He was lost and afraid. To make matters worse, he was very sick with a kitten cold. He was lucky to end up in a vet clinic, where he got the best of care and tons of love.

The staff named him Goose after the Top Gun movie. Every time they open his cage door, he would try to fly of the cage as if he were flying an F-4 Phantom jet. He so wanted to take off and see the world! Clearly, he was ready to get out of the vet office and lead a normal kitten life, but first he had to recover from his cold.

Finally the day arrived when he could move to a foster home, where he would be able to have kitten friends. He kept the name Goose and acquired the nickname "Loose as a Goose".

Now that he is in a family setting, Goose is making up for lost time! He loves to be loved and to kiss your face. He is happy playing either by himself or with his new buddies. He would be an awesome family cat and would blend beautifully into a family of active older children, dogs, other felines, or any combination of these! He has a short, easy-care coat, gray with cute white paws and white on his face. He is what we call an "easy keeper".

Goose has been fully vetted, tested for FeLV, altered, and vaccinated. He is litterbox perfect.

Goose is fostered in Davis.
