Puppy was left at a house with people who didn't want her so they didn't pay any attention to her at all or even feed her much of the time. She lived under the house without a bed and rarely fed. Eventually she came out to follow a neighbor, Becca, when she walked her two dogs. Every day she would follow along on their walks and eventually followed Becca to her house to be fed with her two dogs. After a time she allowed Becca to pet her and put a collar and leash on. Now she comes in the house and sleeps there. She knewwho to follow as Becca is an Animal Lovers of Edisto volunteer who has given puppy lots of TLC to help her become a wonderful adoptable pet Puppy is still extremely shy and docile. She will let you pet and play with her but then might dart away. She is in no way confrontational, enjoys being with other dogs and doing what they do. She is now house trainedbut doesn't ask to go out. She walks well on a leash once she gets to know you. This wonderful dog desperately needs and deserves a very loving forever home with someone who will take time to help her feel loved and secure. She is about 9 months old, spayed, 46 lbs, is up to date on her vaccinations and likes cats. She is heartworm negative, mocrochipped, and ready for her forever home.
