My name is Zebedee!

Labrador Retriever Mix Dog for adoption in Torrance, California - Zebedee

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Zebedee's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Zebedee's Story...
Zebedee is a loving, highly active 8 month old 60lb yellow labrador retriever. He loves being with other dogs and with children.
He enjoys long walks, running around the yard and chasing the cat - so wouldn't recommend a home with cats!

Zebedee will sit in a crate in the car, but travels well without one. He also sleeps quietly on his cushion at night. He does not get separation anxiety when we are out, but is extremely happy to see us when we return. He is house trained and loves to sleep at his foster mom's feet when she is working.

Zebedee pulls a bit on leash, as he is so enthusiastic to meet other people, dogs, bushes, flowers - you name it, he wants to make friends!

Zebedee would like to find a family that has another active dog to play with, children, a yard he can run in, someone to take him for long walks and lots of company. He especially likes to be a pillow to children as they watch a movie.

Zebedee is neutered, chipped and vaccinated. All he needs is a permanent family who can love him as much as he will love them.

SCLRR will require a $75 training deposit for Zebedee, which will be fully refunded once proof has been provided that his new owners have attended a professional training program with him. He is keen to learn!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zebedee, a Torrance Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Torrance, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Torrance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrance paves the way for another one to be saved.
