My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HI! My name is Tiberius. I'm a strong, 65lb, young male 14 month old black lab who is smart, loyal and full of spunk. I have a history of skin allergies, so whoever is lucky enough to adopt me must be willing to tell me 'No!'. I tend to get carried away with chewing my paws but if you tell me 'Quit!' I stop right away. The vet said that I may have to take allergy meds for some time but I have responded well to my new food.

I love to cuddle and if you tell me 'on your bed' I usually hop right on it. I love my doggie bed day and night and I'm even a fan of my crate. When you are away from home, I actually enjoy being in my crate, although I usually need my comfy head-cone to keep me from licking myself too much. I also have this old bone that keeps me occupied.

Did I mention that I swim better than Michael Phelps. No joke! I should have been in the Olympics. The second I get near a pool I am in it. Most labs need a ball or something to chase after, but not me, I literally just take a leisurely swim. Relaxing and circling a time or two before I get out, shake and repeat. And if there isnt a pool, Im cool playing catch or going for a brisk walk. As long as I get some exercise daily I am good to go.

Funny story: I made my foster parents think we were having an earthquake one morning because I ran my body against the whole length of each side of the bed and I pushed it so hard that I shifted the bed while they were sleeping in it. Not a good way to wake up in southern California. But it was sure funny!

Heres a secret...Don't tell...I am still a counter-surfer but once again I listen so well that the second you catch me I respond positively. I have been known to grab a banana or two and the loaf of bread was pretty good...hmm...what else is up there? And one other fun fact is that I love to ride in the car. Im up for going anywhere and since I am so good on the leash I can travel very easily.

So overall, I am an awesome young and energetic lab who needs some love and attention but I promise you I can give back 100 times over. I'm calm at night and as long as you keep me by your side I will be your most loyal friend.

If you are ready for a new loving and loyal friend give your family rep a ring.
