Megan's Story...
Megan is a beautiful Orange Tabby and a former mom. Her fur is very soft and she has golden eyes. She did a wonderful job caring for her kittens. She is very friendly and affectionate. She follows you around, rubs up against your legs and will stand on her hind legs stretching her front paws up asking to be picked up. She starts to purr as soon as you walk into the room and loves to be petted and likes to on laps. Megan enjoys to play with toys and has a frisky side to her mostly mellow, gentle personality. She likes attention and really enjoys human companionship as well as being with other cats. You will fall in love with her as soon as you meet her!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Megan, a Irvine Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
