Hi People!
I’m Sailor, a darling little Bichon boy of about three. My foster mom says I am just about the cutest kid on the block. I exude cuteness. I personify cuteness. I am the epitome of cuteness! (Can you tell she thinks I’m cute?)
I am also a really good boy. I am playful, love big people and little people and other dogs. And I’m a special little guy too. Why maybe you have heard about me?
You see before I became a furkid my back legs didn’t work right. My Aunties at BFK thought I might have a problem with my legs – but it turned out that it wasn’t my legs at all. It was my spine that had a problem (with a really long name that I can’t pronounce) I had to have this thing called an operation and you know what? I had the best vet in the world and now I can walk and even run. (Dad says I’m not supposed to run yet but I feel so good I want to!)
I have a wiggle in my walk that makes people smile when they see me. Mom says I am so silky and soft she loves to snuggle with me. (I love to be snuggled as well, so we are perfect for each other.) Oh and I love belly rubs and learning to do new things. I know commands, love to ride in the car, am housebroken (I learned how to use the doggie door in record time!), am healthy, perky and bouncy. Everything you would want in a cutie pie.
Did I mention I love going for rides, meeting new people (sometimes I’m a bit shy but that doesn’t last long) playing with my squeaky toys and my doggy foster brothers and sisters? Yes, that's me! My other hobbies include following Mom around, sleeping in the sun and belly rubs.
I'm just a happy, loving little guy who is grateful to be able to walk and run again - and anxious to please.
