Hi I'm J.J. Ok truth be known, I am actually named J.J. Spanky! Don't laugh. It's not my fault. The staff here just calls me J.J., though, so you can too. I'm a super cool cat so whatever you call me, I hope you'll come meet me right away. By the way, I am much more handsome in person. This picture makes me look a little goofy when I am truly a gorgeous cat. I think I was just more interested in getting love than having my photo taken.

I was brought to the MaxFund because of my person's health. My person originally rescued me from a family who was moving, and she had me 3.5 years. But then she had to give me up. Boy, I hope this time, my home is forever! According to my person, I like to come to you and sit in your lap or on your chest for pets. Doesn't that sound relaxing and wonderful--for both of us! I am a mellow cat and I enjoy string toys. I like small objects to push around and I enjoy sleeping in the bed with you. She said I am good with cats and dogs.

One thing you need to know about me is that I have a heart murmur. So I need to have a stable home where I won't get scared easily or run the risk of having a heart attack. Perhaps a single person or mellow couple would be best. Or maybe a retired person. I promise I am a super-sweet cat who just wants love and affection. I enjoy people. I hope you will give me a chance to make your dreams come true by showering you with love and being your friend. I am a young cat that has to live in a cage until I find a home. Please rescue me from that.
