My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Arooooooo! I’m a beautiful, modest 3-year-old-tri-colored beagle from Michigan who was an owner surrender. I had 9 healthy babies in June, and suffered from a few medical complications, but I’m all better now and getting anxious to find my forever home.

I am on the petite side and weigh about 22 lbs. I am not the alpha dog here, but do not allow my cute little self to be pushed around by dogs even twice my size. I play all day with my foster brother “Jack” but I get along well with all the beagles that live here. I love my evening strolls, and now that I am healthy, I can walk with my foster family as far as they can. I have a very high prey drive and I have a healthy AROOOO whenever I see rabbits or squirrels. Most people who meet me think that I must have been a hunting dog in my former home because I’m so aware of rabbits and squirrels. Therefore, you have to watch me when I’m in the backyard because I’m tiny and determined and will follow my nose if something tempting comes my way. I like to dig sometimes too. My mama says that I’m getting really good about stopping when she tells me to and I’ve gotten way better about coming when she calls me.

My indoor howl is unique because it is kind of a soft, low aroo and makes the humans laugh every time. Even though I’m tiny, I am a counter surfer; I'm pretty determined and surprisingly good at getting into food. I'm still working on potty training but I potty outside on a leash or in the backyard with no trouble, and I am working on letting my mama know when I have to go. I can be shy around people I don’t know, but I am meeting new friends every day. I don’t have any trouble with children of any age, but because I come from a multi-beagle household, I haven’t had a chance to meet any cats.

Are you looking for a sweet, lovable, petite beagle girl? Then, I might be the pup for you!
