Kona's Story...
This is Kona, she is a 1 1/2 year young Boxer mix.

Kona is fantastic with other dogs, loves people but can be stand offish at first and would be fabulous in a home that will include her in their families outings.

She is a social goofy gal, loves to play with her friends, cuddle with her family and be a silly goof ball. She is well-behaved house trained, and crate trained. Kona also knows basic training commands such as sit, stay, down, and leave it. Kona is looking for a loving and patient family who will allow her the time she deserves for her to trust you, once that trust is built you will really see her blossom into the dog we love and know her to be.

Her foster mommy is doing a great job!

If you are interested in meeting Kona please go to our website at www.passionforpitties.com and fill out our adoption application to begin the process :-)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kona, a San Diego Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
