Henny's Story...
Meet Henny. She loves to run, relax, and hang with her foster bro Sammy. The girl really is a delight! She is crate-trained, walks well on leash, and has impeccable potty manners. She’s great with kids, dogs, cats. She loves playing with her toys, cuddling and sitting on your lap. Henny will do well with someone who likes to walk and since she rarely barks would do well in an apartment.
Henny is about 8 pounds and her estimated date of birth is 2/1/2009.

Please fill out an application found on our web site www.RescueAChi.com for more info on Henny from her foster home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Henny, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
