Patrick's Story...
Hi, I'm Patrick! I am about 16 weeks old as of 10/3/12. I was found at St. Clement's Castle in Portland. I need a quiet home with a patient, cat experienced person. I am still a bit shy but I have come around so much! I now like being pet if you are patient, but I am still not crazy about being picked up. I am getting better every day though. I love to play and am very frisky. I need a home without children and dogs. If you spend time with me and help me get to know you I would make a great companion! Please adopt me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patrick, a Middletown Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Middletown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
