My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Santiago
6 year old Male Seal Point Siamese

What a change in this boy. When he came into rescue in early September Santiago was so painfully shy. He hid under the bed in his cage and would only come out when you picked him up. While he allowed you to hold him, Santi preferred to just jump back into his cage. But now after being neutered and having his dental, he has turned into a happy boy who will certainly tell you how he feels, is exploring his environment and loves to be held and petted. Just rub under his arm pits or on his belly and he will purr away. He can still be shy until he gets to know you and frightens easily with loud noises or too much activity, but Santi is a completely different cat than the one who came into rescue. And as you can see he is very handsome.

Santiago came into rescue because a California breeder died. She left many beautiful breeding cats and we were called to help in the situation. It has been 6 weeks since these cats came to us and they are now comfortable with the changes in their life and have been altered, vet checked and have all had dentals. Santi also had a blood test and everything was normal. He is now ready to go to his own forever home. He will do best in a quieter home without young children. Of course we would like to see Santi go to a home where his owner is Siamese experienced and loves this breed. He is out in his foster moms home with other cats and while cautious is doing very well. He and Lila get along very well and would make a wonderful pair if you are looking for two cats.

Santiago will come to you neutered, fully vetted, current on shots, FeLV/FIV negative and microchipped. He has had a dental. Cats the quality of Santi do not come along very often in rescue. He is fostered in Pleasanton.
