Deacon - Perfect!'s Story...
Deacon is a gorgeous and well-trained 11 year old male Husky. He is calm, low energy and sweet. He is great with kids, cats, dogs and livestock. He is great off leash and loves to cuddle. He is housetrained and very well behaved. He is also neutered and up to date on vaccines. Deacon's owner had an illness in the family and needs to move into an apartment, so they brought him into the vet to be euthanized. They asked the vet if there was any other option, so the vet called us to rescue this gorgeous guy. He is such a nice healthy boy and deserves to live the rest of his life.

If you are interested in giving Deacon a nice home to live out his golden years, please contact Muskoka Rescue at mpsiar@gmail.com. Please note that we normally don't respond to inquiries via Facebook, please email. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Deacon - Perfect!, a Huntsville Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
