My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Penelope is a sweet, shy young gal (born Dec. 2011). She just wants to be your lap dog, play with you and her toys and live in a quiet environment. Penelope gets along with and plays with other dogs, but would prefer to be in a quiet, calmer environment (and not surrounded by 14 dogs).

Penelope came to us from a rural high-kill shelter in Carlsbad, NM. She is now spayed, current on shots, house trained and walks well on leash.

A very, very sweet, quiet girl! with a cute broken tail, just wants to be loved!

1-14-13 Update: Penelope is hell on wheels! This tomboy loves to play, loves to run, and toss her toys in the air! Although Penelope is still sweet, she has most definitely come out of her shell! She would be a fabulous addition to a family.
