My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Suzie: 9 week old female calico Maine Coon kitten

These photos don't show you how tiny she is. She is only a little over 2 pounds and only about 9 weeks old. She has however the confidence of a middle aged cat. She is NOT shy. Look at the photos of her on her 3 hour ride to come to me to foster. She acted like traveling in cars was old hat for her and she looked out the front window or rolled about being cute. Her driver and the passenger knew better than to let her out of her carrier but you can see how persuasive she can be. It doesn't hurt to be the cutest thing walking. They arrived totally in love with her.

She thinks the world is all hers. She doesn't hold back. She will explore and take possession of everything . She arrived with sweet Linus who is a month bigger than she and she went right up to him and smacked him with her paw ( ffended him more than hurt him) . OK, we said, that's enough of that and we put him in with well-behaved Lizzie who also just came and they were fine together. The next day we put Suzie in with them both and in a matter of hours she was sleeping cuddled next to Linus. I guess she made her point.

She is a medium haired plush girl with already a very full soft coat. She is all hair right now. Her tail is part red and part black. The shelter called her a Turkish Angora. With her big ruff around her neck already so prominent I am calling her a Maine Coon mix. It is hard to tell when kittens are so young. She is certainly a beauty and will be so striking when she grows up.

Suzie is utterly adorable. She loves petting and all manner of attention. She will probably grow up to be the alpha cat in the group. She is cat friendly and loves humans. I don't know about dogs. She came to me spayed and ready to go home despite her young age and small size .( I didn't do it ) . Someone will be very lucky to get her.

She eats wet and dry and is litterbox perfect.

Her foster mom is lucky Harriet in Santa Cruz.
