Hi People,
We are Daphne and Libby, a dynamic duo of one year old and we are bichon mixes. I’m Daphne and I’m the older sister (well it was only a few minutes but I am older!) My mom says I’m brave, calm, loving, housebroken and wonderful. She says I like to explore the out of doors, that I love Dog Beach and smile contentedly when you rub my ears! Mom says I’m smart and, when we are outside, I’m kind of in charge of Libby because she is more shy. Inside, however we like to wrestle with each other, dive bomb each other, play chase, take each other’s chew toys… well, you get the idea. Mom says we are a LOT of fun!
Mom says that Libby is the real cuddler. She is also very sweet, kind of funny and loves to be treated like a baby. Libby loves to be petted and have her head scratched and gives lots of doggy kisses. Mom also says she’s less rambunctious than I am (I’m not sure what she means by that but Mom laughs when she says it). We are happiest when we are together and even sleep at night in the same crate, side by side and in Mom’s room (She said that we would probably love to sleep on someone’s bed – that would be heaven for us.)
We get along well with our most dogs (big dogs scare us a bit unless they are gentle) and people. Mom says we do well with older children and gentle younger ones – if they know how to approach us. We weigh 13 and 14 pounds so we are small but not tiny. You can tell the bichon in us as we are smart, have a loving temperament and enjoy having the company of ‘our people.’ When we met our first cat, however, we decided, that cats are only for chasing and cornering – so if you have a cat or two we’re not the ones for you.
Our mom and dad are getting a divorce and mom is moving. She is very sad at having to give us up and asked Bichon FurKids to help find a wonderful Forever Home for us together – a home where we can love and be loved and where we can entertain you, too!
