Aston Martin: 4 yr old male tri color marbled Bengal
Aston Martin has one of the most intelligent expressions on his face I have ever seen on a cat.. How do I say this? I mean just look at him. My respect for him is enormous. Not that he is a wild animal or anything like that but you can see him thinking and he is sort of majestic and separate. I am not expressing myself well - does he make me tongue tied? - hopefully by looking at his photo you will understand what I am trying to say.
Of course he is strikingly beautiful . And he is a nice, well behaved boy. Bengals are known for being "grumpy" in shelters. They know they deserve better than a cage. Aston arrived as my foster cooperative but withdrawn and maybe even a little depressed. We let him be. Now he is feeling better - it has been 3 weeks.(11/ 3 ) He didn't eat well in the shelter and lost 10% of his body weight. He seemed to eat better with company around. The shelter really liked him and helped him with ear mite treatment and so forth. They wanted us to take him so we said yes. They told me he was brought in "stray" but I expect his owner brought him in and said "Hey I found this phenomenal cat outside my house." Just my opinion. He is eating well and doing fine. We just put him in a room together with Tucker, the one year old bengal kitten , and they seem to be pals playing together.Perhaps they will go home together.
Aston Martin will be very connected with his human. He has so much presence you will always know when he is in the room with you. His adopter must definitely want the opportunity for a deep meeting of the minds between species.
He eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.
His foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
