Hi there! My name is Brandie and I am a 2 ½ year old female. I was rescued from the apartment of a woman who was risking eviction if she didn’t get rid of her pets. The volunteer who came to rescue me was extremely grateful that I was being given up after she saw the living conditions that I had been forced to endure. The apartment was literally wall to wall cockroaches. She said they were everywhere. She even found some in the carrier that she used to pick me up in after she left with me. I was also very excruciatingly thin and malnourished, which was truly upsetting to the volunteer who came to take me away. I’m not sure who was happier when leaving that apartment that day, me or my rescuer! I am now a very happy and healthy girl who is looking for my furever home. I love to play fetch and will follow you around. I am an extra sweet, talkative girl with a very expressive face. I am good with other cats but have never been around a dog before. I am also very mellow and would be good with kids and toddlers as well.
