Buddy's Story...
Buddy is a beautiful Golden/Setter with Chestnut color hair. He has the sweetest eyes. I have been working on teaching Buddy not to give bear hugs but it is so hard to resist that sweet loving hug. Buddy does well on a leash but could use more training. He would do fantastic in a fenced area where he could run and play like the puppy he is. Buddy is crate trained but really would prefer to lay at your feet and sleep. Buddy weighs 43 pounds now is is at a perfect weigh for a medium size dog. Do not be afraid of Buddy's long hair because he likes to be brush. Please give Buddy the FOREVER home he deserves.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Bedford Golden Retriever/Setter (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Setter (Unknown Type) for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Setter (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Setter (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Setter (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
