Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Vanessa
Born August 2012 Female Gray and White DMH
We don't know what breed to call Vanessa other than a "special gift". She came into a vet clinic to be euthanized because of her right leg birth defect, not to mention being separated from her siblings in the process. Well, of course, the clinic needed to help this precious girl and of course, they did! Vanessa has seen two veterinarians and both have said she was born with her twisted back leg, but it is not a hindrance to her. She does just fine, is able to compensate, and does use it for balance. They did not recommend amputation. Vanessa can get around just fine; in fact, she can really motor down the halls when she is in a hurry.
The best part of little Vanessa is her warm purrs and loving personality. She is a lap girl and loves to sleep next to you. She really enjoys her human time, and maybe because she is special needs, she knows just how much her humans have helped her so far in her short little life. Vanessa loves not only human company but would need to be with another cat that can give her companionship and over time cuddle time with her. She would be fine with a gentle dog who would not chase or hurt her.
Vanessa is litter box perfect and has been tested , vaccinated and due to be spayed in the next couple of weeks. She will be ready for her new home the middle of December.
