Velma - before and after's Story...
Velma is approx 3 yrs old and weighs just over 5 lbs. we are not sure if she is a poodle mix with maltese or just a mini poodle, she was so matted when we rescued her we had to shave her to the skin. this is a little dog with a big personality, she rules the roost. she loves to be held, but does not like other dogs hogging her lap or her food and she lets them know it, she curls up on the pillow on the bed at night or in her big doggie bed, she seems to be very well house and crate trained. this is one sweet little girl

Our Adoption Process...
We require all adopters to fill out an initial application so that we can check references. We try to match our dogs with a family that fits the needs and individuality of our homeless pets. We work tirelessly to find the right homes with people who will love their pets for a lifetime. We do this through email, phone, and any other means of communication to ensure a good fit.

Lexi's Angels is a group of animal advocates. We are volunteers who work tirelessly to advocate for stray and abandoned pets. We promote and place any pet that needs our help. We ensure safety to pets whether abandoned, stray, or given up by their owners.
