My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sasha was released to the West Side Animal League by her owner due to health issues which rendered her unable to care for her. Her owner loves her more than anything and is so sad to have to give Sasha up. She was her constant lap companion. Sasha is 8 years old and also had 2 siblings so she has been around other dogs. She is a bit “fluffy” (aka plump) and is a very happy little girl!!! Her tail wags non-stop!! She loves loves loves to cuddle and is so happy to just sit in your lap! She still has some liveliness to her as well (8 years old is not that old) and likes to run and play a bit but mostly she loves to cuddle. She is so gorgeous with her brindle coat and rhinestone studded collar! Sasha has been spayed, and will get in to see the vet to get updated on all her shots. She appears to be in very good health.
She is doggie-door trained and if you don’t have a doggie door she will let you know when she needs to go out but you need to act quickly if you know what I mean!! When she says she needs to go, she needs to go!! She gets along well with other dogs but will give a warning growl if she’s tired of playing and wants to be left alone. She is nervous around small “energetic” children as she is not accustomed to them and has lived with just her owner and her 2 sibling dogs for many years. I know she must miss them all so much.
She is a very sweet natured dog who needs her own human to love. She minds well and comes when called! Please contact us if you would like to meet Sasha.
