Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pumpkin
2 year old female Calico Persian
Here is a very sweet, mellow cat who will be super gorgeous when all her fur grows out. Pumpkin is never demanding or needy but will happily accept affection anytime. She absolutely loves to be groomed-- and very regular grooming sessions (or an occasional lion's cut) will be necessary for this cat as her fur is SO plush. Pumpkin is content sleeping in a warm spot or dashing through the kitchen as you cook. She likes to quietly follow her human around at times and observe, and some nights she likes to sleep next to her foster mom. She purrs alot- even when she is just sitting there. Pumpkin is a very easy-going cat who adapts quickly to a new situation. She is independent little girl and loves to explore. We feel she would do best with no dogs, and no other cats unless the resident cat will leave her alone. She is a typical calico "diva" and doesn't like to share her space or her human. She will certainly want to bond with her own humans and needs someone home during the day to provide her company.
Pumpkin has had some damage to her left eye- the eye had a penetrating injury at some point, but the puncture never reached her cornea. She is lucky- there is some scarring visible on her eye but her vision is not affected as far as we know. She (and her eye) has been thoroughly checked out by a vet and was given a clean bill of health. It is recommended her eye gets checked once yearly (to look for any changes) and she may need drops to lubricate her eyes periodically.
Pumpkin is litter box perfect, she eats dry and wet food. She is chipped, Felv/FIV negative, current on her shots and ready for her forever home.
Pumpkin is fostered in Davis.
