My story

Hi People,
My name is Shag and I'm a bichon boy of 10 months weighing in at all of about seven pounds. My foster mom says not to be fooled by my "cute" looks. I am a VERY BRAVE BOY! I survived being abandoned, then being at the shelter and it has not spoiled my happy disposition or my feelings of love and trust for people and dogs. My best friend right now is my doggy foster sister, Taffy, who weighs 50 pounds! And she does not scare me one bit. I love to play with her and walk with her on the leash. Taffy was supposed to help potty train me, but she didn't have to. I am not only brave, I am smart. I was already potty trained. Nobody had to train ME!

I come when I am called and am learning basic commands. I am a very good and loving little guy and I am also very playful. The other day I went into Taffy's toy box, pulled out all of her toys, spread them around the house and tried them out. My Foster Mom was so surprised because the toys were bigger than I am. She laughed, though, at how deliberately I tried them all out... And thinks I am a funny boy.

I like to sleep in a ball and cuddle down next to my Foster Mom at night. Sometimes I play so much, I just conk out and sleep with my legs straight up in the air. I am totally open, trusting, sweet and loveable. Can I come and play in your house?
