Olive's Story...
Good day to everyone. My name is Olive. I am a beautiful 9 year old little girl. My housemates and I found ourselves in a not so pleasant situation. Our Mom had to go the hospital and someone was supposed to take care of us and that didn’t work out. Then someone came and helped us! We miss our mom and are sad she can’t come back home to be with us. So now we are all looking for new homes. I love my brothers and try to keep them in line, but boys will be boys! I am spayed and declawed, and will be getting up to date on my vaccines soon. If you would like to meet me or my housemates contact Michelle at or call 540-586-6100.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olive, a Bedford Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
