Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lily and her mother were struck by a car, her mom died and Lily lost the use of her right front foot. Nothing daunted, she used her front leg as a prop and carried on, but her wrist became raw from being used as a foot, and became a source of infection, not to mention her limping severely which would lead to issues later in life. So her front right leg was amputated on Dec 4th. She is already doing extremely well. Even before the amputation this little girl was like greased lightening and we expect her to be just as nimble once she adjusts. Lily is a VERY loving, well socialized kitten, who is fully house oriented. Her first response to new cats is to hiss or growl, but then she gets over it quickly and adapts. This is a truly special girl, her sutures will be removed on approximately 12/15.
All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at http://www.rescueahart.org/catadoptionapplication.asp. The application will put you in touch with this wonderful cat's foster family so you can schedule a meeting. Thanks!
