Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello Everyone!
My name is Truffles - and I’m an adorable, spunky, affectionate, energetic and playful bichon boy of about two or three. Mom says that I’m a happy guy who wags my tail so hard that it makes my whole body wiggle. (She thinks that's about the cutest thing she has ever seen - and so do her friends!)
I'm also a guy who loves my walks! There is no doubt that I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors. Why, I like the beach and the yard equally well. I love the wind in my hair, the smell of air, the roar of the crowd... well, you get the idea!
As much as I enjoy my walks, I also love to ride in the car. Mom says I'd like to drive but I can't 'cause I'm not old or big enough. Every once in a while, though, she lets me ride with my head out the window. I just sniff away, enjoying life!
I told you that I'm a very playful guy. I like to play fetch - and I also have this game that I made up and play with Mom. I grab a toy, run over to her-- let Mom think she can have the toy (Here comes the tricky part!) Then I run away and go someplace where she can’t catch me. I wait a minute or two then approach her and start the game all over again. (I call it keep away!) Mom thinks that I’m amazingly smart because I thought up that game all by myself!
Uncle Bill says I’m a pretty social guy who likes to meet and greet people. I'm at my best with adults (or the ones they call teenagers) - and, of course, with other furkids. I have two doggy foster brothers and a doggy foster sister. The 'boys' are teaching me lots of things. My doggy sister is bigger than I am so I'm learning how to get along with a bigger dog who is not a bichon. That's a good thing!
So if you are looking for a handsome, playful and affectionate fellow, have another furkid or two, then look no further. I’m here and I’m ready to meet you.
Your friend-in-waiting,
Terrifically Talented Truffles
