Emory's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Emory's Story...
Emory is a 4 year old pure bred girl that is a great snuggler and loves giving kisses. She is very talkative, smart and loyal. She knows her basic commands and learns new things quickly. She can be a little timid and is initially cautious with strangers but once you make friends she loves to be by your side. She enjoys walks, hikes and rides in the car. And her favorite activity is playing ball and running. However she does need some leash training and guidance as she can get over excited. She has lived with young children from infant to school age and is great with them! She needs a loving family that will want to continue to build her confidence with training and attention. Emory has a high ball drive and would do best in a home that will give her a working job, because of this she would not do good in a home with cats. She would do better with an experienced handler.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emory, a Denver German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Denver, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
