Lil Man's Story...
Poor Lil Man got dealt two blows by people. He first got surrendered for no good reason. Now he just got adopted but brought back because the adopter did not want to treat him for heartworms. This is a young dog and gone are the days of hundreds of dollars to treat HW. The slow kill method is just as cheap as using a monthly heart worm pill and it works. Yet the new adopters reject edhim and sent him back to the shelter for euthanization. He will not be kept since he is positive. He is such a sweet boy with a desire to please you. I went inside the pen with him today and petted him , he was laying down and his heart was racing with fear. Life in a pen was also wearing him down.. Lil Man is a great size, he weighs less than 40 lbs. He needs a home fast He is probably housebroken and crate trained, since he was surrendered. he could be great with cats, other dogs, but the shleter does not know for sure since they are kept in runs. Please give him a chance to show you what he has to offer. There is a grassy area that you can come and take him out for a walk in. And if you want, he can meet your other dogs if you re looking for a friend for them. The shelter address: 650 John Howell Memorial Drive in Linconton. 704 736 -4215 , Open 6 days a week; M-Sat 11 to 4:30 and Thursday open until 5:30 pm. Closed Sunday. Adoption fee of 85.00 includes the spay or neuter , another disease preventative vaccine and a rabies vaccine, a microchip, as well as worming and a new bonus, 30 days of free insurance..Incredible. There is a family friendly adoption room too.. The shelter does do same day adoptions ... so please, don't delay!
