Salas's Story...
PLEASE NOTE: This is a courtesy listing. Please do NOT contact ARRF. Contact Carla at carla@animalsynergy.org or Soon-Ah at sfadness@gmail.com to meet this little guy.

Salas is an adorable Labradoodle mix who was born about June 2012. He currently weighs about 30 pounds, so may top out with another 10 to 15 pounds when fully grown. He’s great with other dogs, humans and kids (loves to play). Even cats are okay (sniffs them, but doesn’t chase). He also loves to get as much cuddling as he can get.

Salas is almost totally housetrained and is incredibly smart. He’s pretty good on the leash, but still has enough puppy in him to forget his leash manners at times. He knows how to sit and is learning how to stay. He’ll be an awesome dog for an awesome owner!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Salas, a Vista Labradoodle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labradoodle for sale in Vista, or seeking a Labradoodle puppy from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labradoodle breeders who help with Labradoodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
