My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please meet Trooper. He is one of the Wallkill dogs. Trooper has lived a difficult life and was denied medical care for an injury many years ago. Because Trooper never received medical care his leg became severely deformed. Sadly, he is not a candidate for surgery & will be maintained on pain meds for the remainder of his life. However, his spirit is full of life and he does not allow his disability to hold him back in any way. He runs, plays and enjoys the finer things in life - pain free! This boy is looking for a forever home. He has so much love to give and after all he has suffered in his past , we owe it to him to find him a wonderful family to share his life with. We assure you...the love he will give back to you will be 10 fold!! Trooper is good with other dogs and currently in foster care with a male and female rottweiler. . This remarkable dog will inspire you with his courage and determination. Please do not look the other way because of his disability, look inside his heart and you will see he is perfect just the way he is!!! For more info on Trooper please contact Mountain Rottie Rescue.
