Baby's Story...
This beautiful girl is Baby, a 7 year old female brindle mix that came to our shelter on 2/4/10 with her best friend Nicki. Baby is an energetic and fun-loving girl! She's very affectionate and when you scatch her back, she actually squeals with delight! Baby and Nicki are inseparable and came to us when their owner had to give them up due to financial hardship. They are best friends and would love to go to a home together. Please consider giving these lovely ladies a home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby, a Forked River Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
