Glory's Story...
Glory is a beautiful, kind, gentle and loving girl. She is about 4 years old and weighs a mere 91 lbs. Glory had severe entropian on both her upper and lower lids when we rescued her. We had that corrected, but with years of her eye lids rubbing on her eyes, she does have some vision problems. However, there are no other health issues, she is healthy and happy. Glory is house trained, leash trained, gets along great with other dogs, loves people and is good around horses. If you are interested in this gorgeous girl, contact us at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Glory, a Derry Bloodhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bloodhound for sale in Derry, or seeking a Bloodhound dog from a breeder in Derry.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Derry already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Derry breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bloodhound breeders who help with Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Derry paves the way for another one to be saved.
