Bianco's Story...
This adorable little guy with the big smile is Bianco, a 3 year old chihuahua/jack russell mix that came to us from our Newark facility in search of a great new home. Bianco had a home but was surrendered when his owners could no longer care for him. This little guy is always smiling and nothing seems to get him down. He loves to go for long walks with all of his new friends and is very well-behaved on a leash. Bianco is just the perfect little gentleman and takes treats and toys very gently. He was a bit shy upon arrival, but warmed up to everyone quickly. Since Bianco has a tendency to be shy with new people, he would prefer a home with no small children under the age of 10. He seems interested in other dogs so please bring yours in to meet him. Please give this happy little man the wonderful new home that he's dreaming of! 8/24/12 File#21834

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bianco, a Forked River Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
