Pauline's Story...
This beautiful little lady is Pauline, an adult cockapoo, probably around 8 or 9 years old. Pauline came in as a stray and how someone could let this sweetheart go is just unimagineable. Pauline came in with several mammary masses and unfortunately, one was malignant. Pauline is in the very early stages of mammary cancer and may not be affected by it for about 3 years. Pauline isn't letting this get her down and she is full of energy! Don't be fooled by her age either, Pauline is quite puppyish and just wants to play, run, and check out the world around her. She is so loving and affectionate, and loves to be held and doted upon. Pauline loves absolutely everyone she meets and doesn't seem to mind other dogs or cats. She is so very smart, and will sit patiently and wait to be leashed up and to get treats. Pauline is just an all-around great little girl that would make a wonderful addition to any loving family. Please make our little girls dreams come true and give her the wonderful home that she is hoping for! 11/16/12 File#22062

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pauline, a Forked River Cockapoo dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cockapoo for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Cockapoo dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cockapoo breeders who help with Cockapoo rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
