Pierre's Story...
Pierre- A 9 year old male Flamepoint Himi

What a gorgeous boy Pierre is! His creamy-colored fur is so pillowy soft and he is always more than happy to let you pet to your heart's content. He is so irresistible- his fur is just right- not too dense where matting occurs, in fact, it hardly mats at all. He still needs to be brushed regularly to help prevent shedding. He keeps himself super clean.

Pierre is a very mellow kitty who seems to not mind other cats or dogs. He can be shy around strangers, but once he gets to know you, he prefers to chill out somewhere close by, if not right next to you. His foster mom can see, with time, he will be a huge lovebug. He is still playful- he enjoys playing with a feather toy. She doesn't think he would do well with young children and would prefer a quiet, calm household- other animals are okay.

Pierre has been checked out by a vet and received some much needed dental work. One tooth was extracted and he got a good cleaning so he is a happy cat. He likes wet and dry food. He tested negative for FELV/FIV and is current on his vaccines. He is microchipped, litter box perfect, and ready to go to his forever home. Are you ready to take this sexy loverboy home today?

He is being fostered by Casey in Sacramento. Contact Casey at ooocasey@yahoo.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pierre, a Vacaville Himalayan cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Vacaville, or seeking a Himalayan cat from a breeder in Vacaville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vacaville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vacaville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vacaville paves the way for another one to be saved.
