Bart's Story...
Well the mark of good breeding is evident isnt it? Hairy, handsome Bart is a substantial boy with a substantial personality. He is quick for a big guy, extremely playful and adores the frenzy of some mouse action. Bart loves to stretch out and show off his long torso while contemplating the hair between his toes. And he would challenge any walrus to a longest-whisker contest. He is a mush bag of affection with his foster peeps and gets on well with fellow cats and dogs. Welcome big, furry Bart with open arms, and a brush, as he likes to maintain a beautiful coat that showcases his striking beauty mark. This cuddly boy was born in 2011.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bart, a Chicago Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
