Bailey's Story...
Bailey...M...Yorkshire Terrier mix...DOB Nov. 2011...contact tinahopkins@earthlink.net

Bailey is an adorable, extremely sweet and loving little (8lbs.) guy with lots of energy. He is all about playing, snuggling and having fun. He would do well with a family with some children to play with and/or a small dog that needs a companion. He enjoys playing with the three small dogs in his foster home and loves to frolic around the backyard and chase squirrels. He sleeps with his foster mom and dad in their bed and doesn't like to be crated for long periods. He is eager to please and would do well in an obedience class. He has a very soft coat that needs to be brushed often and groomed as needed but he does not seem to shed. Bailey is current on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped and heartworm negative and on preventive. Also, in sending your note to the Contact Person, be sure to include information about yourself, family, home, yard, fence, other pets, work situation, and pet accommodations. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Kingwood Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Kingwood, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Kingwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
