Franklin's Story...
Franklin is a small Miniature American Eskimo Dog, very good nature and cute as a button! Franklin is quite a little character; he's is treat motivated, sits on command and gives paw! He is very good on leash and enjoys walks. Franklin is excellent in the car too. Franklin is good with other dogs, and we imagine he will be good with cats, but have not yet tested him with the felines! We guess that Franklin is around 6-8 years old. He has been good with everyone he has met while we have had him in our rescue, including young teens, but not yet with small children. Franklin has captured our hearts and is just a great little dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Franklin, a Elmhurst American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Eskimo Dog for sale in Elmhurst, or seeking a American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Elmhurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmhurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmhurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmhurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
