Oliver (MC)'s Story...
Hello, my name is Oliver and I was born around December 1, 2010. When I first came to my foster home I was very shy but it only took a couple of weeks for me to feel right at home. From the very beginning I really liked my foster mom and let her rub my chin. I even purred on the very first day! The other young cat in the house scared me a little but now we are best friends and I would love to have another cat in my new home. We usually wrestle with each other or chase that silly laser pointer all through the house. I really like to use my scratching post and all the fun toys I get to play with. And after a long day of playing I like to relax on my foster moms lap. I will purr very loudly to show her how much I enjoy her company. When I first came into rescue I had a very bad ear infection and a polyp in one ear. Some medication and the removal of the polyp made me feel much better but my new family needs to keep an eye on me. I do not want to get in trouble so please let me be indoors only. I promise I will be happy to watch the birds from the window.

About Our Rescue Group...
Save The Animals Rescue Team, (S.T.A.R.T.) is a non-profit humane organization, founded by Annette Lamberti, that rescues stray, abandoned, injured, and abused kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. The animals rescued are examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and placed in one of our volunteer foster homes. Since S.T.A.R.T. does not have a shelter facility, these animals remain in our foster care until they are adopted. So many of these unfortunate animals are victims of pet overpopulation, therefore, this life-saving work is critical!!

Our Adoption Process...
S.T.A.R.T. does require an adoption fee, a pre-adoption application along with signed contract once your application has been approved. If you are interested in meeting any of our pets please call us or access our pre-adoption application which can be located at www.startpets.net, click on "adoptions". Out of state adoptions require additional time pending our officers approval; you must be 21 years or older to adopt; an application does not guarantee an adoption approval.
