Blue Belle's Story...
Pretty little Mena is an about 3 years old, spayed female. She is young enough to still be playful & fun, but quite happy to curl up next to you where you'll find petting her beautiful, soft fur to be addictive. She was named for the sweet little girl who found her on cold & wet doorstep when she was still a kitten. Sadly the little girl was allergic to cats, so Mena came to BHS to find a home that would love her forever. She is good with most other cats & dogs, but she would be content to be an only pet. This kitty with the pretty, unusual markings has had her virus testing & is current on vaccines & deworming. For more information, call 586-6100 or email LMHANDVTM@msn.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blue Belle, a Bedford Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
