Peanut Brittle's Story...
PEANUT BRITTLE, September 2012, Female Tortie Manx.

And now, another update on the adventures of Peanut! Faster than a speeding rabbit! More cuddly than a teddy bear! Able to leap tall kitchen counters in a single bound! Look up in the kitty tower! It's a whirlybird! It's a tornado! No, it's Peanut! Peanut, beautiful little Black and Tan girl with descendants from the Isle of Man in England, born in California with cuteness and endowed with love far beyond that of normal kittens. Peanut, who can make you open your heart to love, help you learn that patience has its rewards; and who, disguised as a mild-mannered Manx kitty in a Nevada foster home, strives untiringly for a home of her own, filled with love, patience, and a forever friend in the true American Way.

Peanut Brittle or should I say Whirlybird is a kitten of many personalities and is the perfect combination! She is just adorable running around the house with that cute bunny rabbit run! She leaps onto the counters when no one is looking to explore and look for treats. She loves treats. In the evening she likes nothing better than being held and curling up on your lap or chest and purring real loud. She is like a little tornado when she charges from one end of the house to the other with Uncle Indy our resident kitten uncle. She loves feather toys and da Mouse and her little tail goes round like a whirlybird when she is reved up to play! Even our Grumpy old kitty likes her and he is very picky! If she can’t find you, or wants your attention, she softly chirps to you until she finds you or you call to her. She is a very endearing little girl with a heart full of love to give the right person.

Peanut is a sweet little tortie Manx. Long-haired variants are sometimes considered a separate breed, known as a Cymric. Peanut is what is known as a Stumpy, she has a partial tail that is about 2 inches long. The breed is intelligent, fun-loving, and they typically get along well with other pets, including dogs. They are very loyal to their humans and enjoy spending quality time with them. As cats go, they can be easily taught tricks. They are typically very gentle and non-aggressive. Her coat is soft and she has huge ear tufts! She has very expressive golden eyes. Her pictures and video just do not do her justice!

Peanut is so easy to love. She would do wonderful with other easy going kitties that just want to hang out and play or she would be fine as an only kitty with her own person to love her and play with her. Are you the one for her? Besides, how many people do you know that can say they own a Cymric? You could be the first in your circle of friends…can you open your heart to this little doll?

Peanut Brittle will come to you spayed, tested, microchipped and vaccinated. She is litter box perfect.

She is fostered in Reno, NV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut Brittle, a Vacaville Cymric kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cymric for sale in Vacaville, or seeking a Cymric kitten from a breeder in Vacaville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vacaville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vacaville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cymric breeders who help with Cymric rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vacaville paves the way for another one to be saved.
