Meet Hank, a super sweet 3-year-old Pit mix. Hank had a loving family, but a change in their circumstances forced them to give him up, through no fault of Hank's. Hank is awesome with kids and people in general - and he also loves other dogs. A friend of the family is looking after Hank so he doesn't have to go to the shelter, but she can't hang onto him for much longer.

Because Hank has been living in a house with a family, he is ready to move right into another home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hank, a Santa Monica American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Santa Monica, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Santa Monica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Monica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Monica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Monica paves the way for another one to be saved.
